GMC Udhampur Important Notification Regarding Junior Staff Nurses

Disposal of various representations received in respect of selection of Junior Staff Nurses in various Department of GMC, Udhampur on academic arrangement basis as per S.O 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020 advertised vide No. 08 of 2023 dated 04.05.2023 read with Addendum notification no. GMC/UDH/2023/24/143 dated 09-05-2023.

Whereas, the Government Medical College Udhampur advertised 69 number of non-Gazetted Paramedical post vide advertisement number 08 of 2023 dated 04.05.2023 read with addendum notification no. GMC/UDH/2023/24/143 dated 09-05-2023 purely on academic arrangement basis initially for a period of 1 year extendable up to maximum of 6 years (subject to good performance and conduct) or till the regular selection is made in accordance with the Recruitment rules whichever is earlier as envisaged under S.O 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020 and other applicable rules issued on the subject from time to time by the Health and Medical Education Department J&K.

Whereas, the aforesaid Advertisement notification prescribe the qualification, terms and condition for making engagement against the said posts,

Whereas, vide notification number GMC/UDH/24-25/1966-71 dated 09-08-2024 the screening test was conducted for the post of Junior Staff Nurses on dated 18.08.2024 for 30 number of posts which may increase or decrease depending upon the actual number of post available to the authority at the time of the finalization of lists,

Whereas, 456 numbers of applicants appeared for the screening test of Junior Staff Nurses posts,

Whereas, various representations from the aggrieved candidates regarding reservations and other genuine issues related to recruitment were raised,

Whereas, the representations received were placed before the screening committee for consideration in terms of applicable rules, the committee members discussed the issue threadbare and pursued the entire records pertaining to the said selection process, especially the advertisement Notice no. GMC/UDH/24-25/1966-71 dated 09-08-2024 and came to conclusion that the advertisement notice issued in terms of S.O 364 dated 27-11-2020, wherein clause (7) explicitly provide that while making selection under aforesaid S.O, reservation act and rules thereof required to be followed and reservation roster to be maintained,

Whereas, the screening committee proposed and recommended the Chairman selection committee to kindly seek relevant certificates/documents from the appeared candidates such as Diploma in Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing/ Domicile/Marks Sheets/Category Certificates etc. for scrutinization and finalization of list as per relevant rules and regulation,

Now therefore in view of above mentioned circumstances and facts the genuine representations received from applicants are accorded due consideration under applicable rules and regulation and through this missive it is enjoined upon all the applicants who were appeared in the screening test conducted on 18-08-2024 to submit the following documents for scrutinization by the screening committee within week time positively from the date of issuance of this order for the finalization of the list to the office of the Principal Govt. Medical College Udhampur during working hours from 10.00 A.M to 05.00 P.M.

3. All Marks Relevant Sheets.

4. Diploma in Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing degree.

5. Registration from (SNC/INC).

6. Application form.
