Govt. ITI Kalakote Admission Notice

ONLINE ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2026-27-28

In pursuance to Directorate of Skill Development J&K’s Admission Notice issued under endorsement No: DSD/401/Trgs/2026/e-7905971/829-925, dated: 26-05-2026, online applications are invited from eligible candidates for seeking admission in Govt. ITI Kalakote for the academic session 2026-27-28 in various Engineering/Non-Engineering trades having duration of one year/two years being run under NCVT commencing from 30th May 2026 to 15th June 2026, for which the forms can be uploaded from 30th May 2026.

The desirous and eligible candidates having minimum age of 14 years as on 1st September 2026 with no upper age bar have to fill up the admission forms available online at ITI admission link:
https://jkdsd.in/itiadmissions present on the official website of Directorate of Skill Development J&K i.e. www.jkdsd.in.

The last date for applying online is 15th June 2026.

Candidates have to fill complete details including name, parentage, qualification, etc., and upload soft copies in .jpg format (20KB–200KB) of the following documents:

Documents Required

Marks Certificate of qualifying examination (8th/10th)

Date of Birth Certificate

Category Certificate (SC/ST1/ST2/Ex-serviceman/Physically Handicapped/EWS), if any

Aadhaar Card

Domicile Certificate (to be produced at the time of admission in ITI)

After finalizing the application, candidates must submit the printout along with self-attested copies of documents and deposit the prescribed fee of Rs. 100/- (per three trades) at Govt. ITI Kalakote.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Candidates must submit the printout of the application along with documents and fee of Rs. 100/- per three trades at ITI Kalakote.

Selection will be based purely on academic merit in the qualifying examination.

On successful completion, certificates will be awarded under SCVT/NCVT by the National Council for Vocational Education & Training.

Candidates who have already undergone ITI training can apply for another trade after two years, subject to conditions.

Selected candidates must maintain the same mobile number linked with Aadhaar and email ID till course completion.
