High Court of J&K Issues Important Update on Scheduled Interviews for 2026
Deferment of Interview/Viva-Voce for the Post of Research Assistant
The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has announced the postponement of interviews/viva-voce for candidates seeking temporary engagement as Research Assistants.
In continuation of High Court Notification No. 2578 of 2026/RR/RC dated 22 October 2026, the High Court has notified that the interviews scheduled for candidates from the Kashmir and Jammu divisions have been deferred until further orders.
Revised Schedule :
The notification covers candidates from both divisions of Jammu and Kashmir.
Kashmir Division: The interviews/viva-voce scheduled for 28 and 29 October 2026 have been deferred.
Jammu Division: The interviews/viva-voce scheduled for 3 and 4 November 2026 have also been deferred.
The High Court has not announced any revised dates for the interviews. Candidates should therefore wait for a fresh notification before making arrangements to attend the interview.
