Implementations of Schemes run by the Handloom & Handicrafts, Doda
1. Credit Card Scheme for Artisans & Weavers: This scheme provides financial assistance to unemployed to encourage self-employment particularly in Handloom & Handicrafts Sector in the form of Loan from the banks and 10% promotee’s contribution with bank interest subsidy of 7% for the period of 05 years.
2. Pradhan Mantri Weavers Mudra Scheme: A total amount of loan is 1.90 lakh and margin money assistance of Rs 15000/- will be paid by the beneficiary and 25000/- will be paid by the Ministry of Textiles GOI. Concerned Banks / Financing authority will approach through concerned regional or Head office of the Ministry of Textiles, GOI for sanction / release the amount of Margin Money and 6% Interest Subsidy in favour of the beneficiary as both the benefits are to be paid by the Ministry of Textiles, GOI.
3. Registration of Weavers & Artisans: Trained or traditional weavers & artisans can registered you with the department through online mode on https://singlewindow.jk.gov.in and take benefits under above mentioned schemes.
4. Education Scheme: Wards/Children’s of registered weavers & artisans from 1st to 12th are being provided annually scholarship having BPL, PHH & AAY Ration Card or Economic Weaker Section under different categories i.e. Upto Primary Rs. 1500/-, Class 6th – 10th Rs. 2000/- & Class 11th & 12th Rs. 3000/- Interested children of artisans may collect their application forms and submit from duly supported documents within a month.
