The Online tests for the posts of Probationary Officers & Banking Associates have been conducted by the bank under the aegis of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as nodal agency in association with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). IBPS, an agency of immaculate track record whose governing board comprises of nominees from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Ministry of Finance, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF), National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) and the public sector banks, has conducted the test in a transparent and professional manner.
It is reiterated for the information of public in general and the candidates in particular that the Bank has dispensed with the interview for the posts of clerks (Banking Associates) and the merit list finalized by IBPS will be the selection list that shall be notified in local dailies by the Bank. However with regard to the posts of Probationary Officers only preliminary examination has been conducted and the shortlisted candidates will be required to clear the mains and interview before final selection.
It has come to the notice of the Bank that certain agencies / individuals are contacting the applicants with assurances to get them appointed against large sums of money. It is hereby cautioned that those dealing with such an agency / individual would be doing so at their own risk and J&K Bank will not be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered directly or indirectly. We would like to take this opportunity to underscore that Bank reserves its right to initiate legal action against any agency/ individual misleading the general public by making such fake offers. Bank reiterates that the recruitment process at J&K Bank is completely transparent and people should, neither fall prey to any allurement by some malicious elements claiming to be agents nor get carried away by any misinformation campaign.
