J&K High Court Junior Assistant Exam Update
Change of Examination Pattern and Introduction of Negative Marking for the Post of Junior Assistant Advertised Vide Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2025/RR/RC Dated 26.05.2025
Important Updates
The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh had earlier advertised 48 vacancies for the post of Junior Assistant through Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2025/RR/RC dated 26.05.2025.
Initially, the examination for the said post was scheduled to be conducted through an Online Computer Based Test (CBT).
Due to the large number of applications received and to maintain uniformity in the examination process, the recruitment authority has now decided that the examination will be conducted through Offline OMR Mode instead of CBT.
The previous provision regarding no negative marking mentioned in High Court Notification No. 49 dated 15.10.2020 has been revised.
Negative Marking Introduced
0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect/wrong answer.

The OMR Based Written Examination for the post of Junior Assistant is tentatively scheduled to be conducted:

Second week of July 2026
