JK High Court Promotion of Civil Judges

Process for filling up of posts of Civil Judges (Senior Division) by way of promotion from amongst Civil Judges (Junior Division) on adhoc basis.

Hon’ble the Chief Justice (Acting) has been pleased to constitute a committee comprising of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Parihar and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Shahzad Azeem to conduct the interview of eligible candidates, falling in the consideration zone for promotion to the post of Civil Judge (Senior Division), as per Annexure-“A” appended to this order, in terms of Rule 7 (c) of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Judicial Service Rules, 2025.
