JKBOPEE Important Notification

Conduct of 2nd/Mop Up Round (upgradation/ allotment) of (Physical) counselling for admission to (Post MBBS/Post MBBS Diploma/Post Diploma) DNB Courses 2023 in various Government Medical Colleges of UT of J&K.

Notification No. 093-BOPEE of 2023 Dated 13-10- 2023

In Pursuant to Notice No. 031-BOPEE of 2023 dated 27.09.2023 read with Notice No. 032 -BOPEE of 2023 dated 03.10.2023, after lowering the cut by the Ministry of Health & Family welfare, GOI, New Delhi, the updated new rank wise merit list is annexed as Annexure-A to this Notification. the Board has decided to conduct 2nd/Mop Up Round of counselling on 15.10.2023 as per the following schedule :

It is further notified for information of all the concerned candidates that the upgradation/allotment of seats during the 2nd/Mop Up Round of Counseling shall be purely on provisional basis and shall not confer any preferential right upon the selected candidates and shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition, if any, subjudice in any competent court of law on the subject.

Moreover, as mentioned in the Notification No.081- BOPEE of 2023 dated 18.09.2023, the candidatures of 17 candidates were rejected due to earlier cut off fixed by the Ministry of Health & Medical Education, GOI but they are now become eligible after lowering of percentile to Zero by the Ministry & their names are included in the updated Rank Wise Merit List annexed as Annexure A to this Notification The Board shall first call all the category candidates during 2nd/Mop Up Round of Counselling Process and if any
category candidate(s) is not available, then the same category seat(s) shall be converted into OM as provided under Section 09 (2) of J&K Reservation Act, 2004 and shall be allotted on the basis of merit cum preferences.

Note -I :

The following procedure shall be followed during the 2nd/Mop Up Upgradation/Allotment Round of Physical Counseling.

i) The eligible and willing candidates have to report at the BOPEE offices Jammu / Srinagar for Registration/ Attendance & fulfillment of other formalities, from 10.30 a.m. to11.30 a.m. on the day/date of counseling for DNB Courses.

ii) All the participating candidates are advised to bring the following documents at the time of counseling

a) Domicile Certificate

b) NOC from Department

c) NBE /PDCET Score card 2023

d) MBBS degree/Diploma wherever is applicable

Note -II :

The Seat Matrix for 2nd/Mop Up Round of counselling which is also annexed as Annexure-B to this Notification and
shall be uploaded on website of the Board for information of the candidates.

The other Terms and Conditions shall, however, remain the same as notified by the Board in various Notifications/Notices issued from time to time in this regard.
