Provisional Selection list for admission to B. E. / B. Tech. (Engineering) Courses-2024 in Government/Private Engineering Colleges of UT of J&K.

In pursuance of Notification No. 037-BOPEE of 2024 dated 24-06-2024, read with other Notifications / Notices, the Board conducted first round of physical counseling from 30-06-2024 to 02-07-2024 simultaneously at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar for admission to B.E/ B. Tech (Engineering) courses-2024 in Govt. / Private Engineering Colleges of UT of Jammu and Kashmir. The list of candidates provisionally selected for allotment of seat(s) / Stream / Institution as per their merit cum preferences is given at Annexure “A” to this Notification which shall remain available on BOPEE official website www.jkbopee.gov.in only.

The candidates provisionally selected shall report for admission to the allotted Colleges / Institutions by or before 9th of July 2024 (up to 03.00 P.M) along with their relevant certificates in original. The concerned Heads of the Institutions shall complete the admission process after checking the eligibility of candidates and verifying the following documents:

1. Domicile Certificate.

2. Marks Certificate of 12th Class.

3. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Marks Sheet/Diploma).

4. Category Certificate, if applicable.

5. ID card to verify the identity of the candidate, &

6. Any other document, as required by concerned college/institution for admission purposes.

Note:

1. All the Heads of the Institutions/Colleges are requested to keep their admission counters open on holidays/off days to facilitate the candidates to complete their admission process well in time.

2. The candidate(s) who would conceal any information at the time of admission, the candidature of such candidates shall be cancelled abinitio and fine/penalty shall be imposed upon him/her as may be deemed proper by the Board in accordance with the laid down rules.

3. The allotment of seats (discipline/institution) have been made in accordance to the provisions of S.O. 176 of 2024 dated 15-03-2024.

4. The Concerned Colleges/Institutions shall ensure that, in case a person with disability, is selected in open merit or some reserved category, the college/ institution concerned shall refer such case(s) to the Medical College concerned for constitution of special Medical Board to assess such candidates and make recommendations based on which colleges shall take further necessary action. In case any such candidate does not fulfill the bench marks of disability, he/she shall not be admitted to the course/ college and the matter shall be reported to the BOPEE.

5. For fee related query, candidates provisionally recommended for admission are advised to contact the concerned College/Institution.

The Heads of the Institutions shall keep record of admissions and send the shortfall of the candidates, if any, to the Board through e-mail viz, [email protected] / [email protected] on 9th July, 2024 at 04:30 P.M positively.

The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified in the Information Brochure and Notifications/Notices issued by the Board in this regard from time to time.
