JKPSC General Instructions for the Candidates appearing in the Prosecuting Officer (G) (Main) Examination
Key Highlights
Exam starts: 15 July 2026.
Admit Cards available: 07 July 2026 on the JKPSC website.
Candidates unable to download their admit card must report to the JKPSC Office (Jammu/Srinagar) by 13 July 2026.
Candidates are advised to download the admit card well in advance to avoid server issues.
Candidature is purely provisional and subject to verification of eligibility and documents.
Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions under Notification No. 13-PSC (DR-P) of 2025 dated 10.11.2025 should appear.
Important Examination Instructions
Reach the examination venue at least 1½ hours before the exam.
Entry to the examination centre closes 30 minutes before the exam.
Candidates must be seated in the examination hall 20 minutes before the exam starts.
Carry:
Admit Card
Original Photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving Licence/Passport)
Read and follow all instructions on the admit card.
Do not write anything on the admit card.
Mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, headphones and any unauthorized material are strictly prohibited. Possession of these items can lead to disqualification.
Bring your own blue/black ballpoint pen.
Candidates cannot leave the examination hall before the exam ends.
Check the Question-cum-Answer Booklet for damage or missing pages and get it replaced immediately if necessary.
No extra answer sheets will be provided.
Blank sheets in the answer booklet should be crossed by the candidate.
Candidates must arrange their own boarding and lodging; no TA/DA will be paid.
Keep weather conditions in mind and reach the centre on time.
