JKPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notice regarding the rejection of candidature of seven candidates for the post of Medical Officer (Allopathic) in the Health and Family Welfare Department due to failure to submit the required deficient documents within the stipulated time.

JKPSC Medical Officer Candidature Rejected 2026 – Details

The JKPSC notice states that 480 posts of Medical Officer (Allopathic) were referred to the Commission through Communication No. HD-Gaz/373/2025 dated 25 December 2025. The posts were advertised vide Notification No. 20-PSC (DR-P) of 2025 dated 31 December 2025.

The written examination was conducted on 14 March 2026, and the merit list was issued on 27 March 2026.

Through a notice dated 20 July 2026, certain candidates were asked to submit their deficient documents within 10 days. However, the following seven candidates failed to respond to the deficiency notice within the prescribed time.

  • J&K Medical Registration Certificate from Rajasthan Medical Council.

Afshan Pervaiz

• Roll Number: 3301827
• Deficiency: ST-1 Category Certificate submitted in Central List format instead of the prescribed UT format.

Muskan Gupta

• Roll Number: 3301857
• Deficiency: J&K Medical Registration Certificate not uploaded.

Nisha Chagal

• Roll Number: 3302016
• Deficiency: SC Certificate submitted in Central List format instead of the prescribed UT format.

Appeal Against Rejection of Candidature

The Commission has rejected the candidature of the above-listed candidates for the post of Medical Officer (Allopathic) in the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Candidates who disagree with the rejection of their candidature may represent their case before the Appellate Authority of the Commission within 10 days from the date of issuance of the notice.

The notice further states that no claim will be entertained after the stipulated period.
