JKPSC Notice Regarding Preliminary Examination for the post of Civil Judge
Attention Candidates appearing in the Preliminary Examination for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the Subordinate Judiciary.

It is for the information of all eligible candidates that the Preliminary Examination for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in Subordinate Judiciary, as notified vide Notification No. 07-PSC (DR-P) of 2025 dated 14.05.2025, shall be conducted on 21.09.2025 (Sunday) in two sessions as under:
Forenoon Session: 10:00 AM
Admit Cards will be available on the Commissionโs website from 16.09.2025 (Tuesday).
Steps to download Admit Card:
Login to your JKPSC account (using User ID & Password).
Click on Admit Card menu.
Click on Get Admit Card to download.
Print your Admit Card.
If unable to download, candidates may approach the Commission by 19.09.2025 (Friday) with proof of application and fee payment.
The candidature is purely provisional. Misrepresentation, impersonation, or fraud will lead to cancellation and disciplinary action.
Instructions for Candidates :
Report 2 hours before exam for Paper-A (08:00 AM) and 1 hour before Paper-B (01:30 PM).
Entry will be closed 30 minutes before commencement.
Be seated 20 minutes before exam starts.
Carry Admit Card + valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, DL, Passport).
Follow instructions on Admit Card.
Do not write anything on Admit Card.
Verify details on Admit Card and report discrepancies.
Ensure safe custody of Admit Card.
Do not carry mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, headphones, Bluetooth devices, or unauthorized material. Possession will lead to disqualification.
Only appear at your allotted centre.
Bring your own stationery (blue/black pen, transparent pouch, transparent board).
No leaving exam hall before full time (2 hours).
Read instructions on OMR sheet & test booklet.
Exam is Multiple Choice type. Mark answers with blue/black ballpoint pen.
Darken ovals fully without damaging sheet.
Make own boarding/lodging arrangements.
Candidature is provisional, subject to eligibility.
Note
Paper-A & Paper-B: 100 questions each, 225 marks, 2 hours.
Any discrepancies in question paper must be reported within 3 days of exam.
Candidates should check traffic/weather advisories to avoid inconvenience.
