JKSSB Admit Card 2026 for Various Posts in Forest Department PST/PET: Download From 2 September

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued an important notice regarding the JKSSB Admit Card 2026 for the Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) for various posts in the Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment.

The physical tests will be conducted for shortlisted candidates for the posts of Inspector (FPF), Wildlife Guard, FPF Guard, Field Assistant and Social Forestry Worker advertised under Notification No. 03 of 2021 and 04 of 2022.

Candidates will be able to download their JKSSB PST/PET Admit Card from 2 September 2026 through the official JKSSB website using their login credentials.

JKSSB PST/PET 2026 Schedule

According to the official notice, JKSSB will conduct the Physical Standards Test and Physical Endurance Test at Srinagar from 7 September to 8 September 2026.

For candidates appearing at Jammu, the PST/PET will be held from 11 September to 13 September 2026.

JKSSB Admit Card 2026 Download Date

The JKSSB Admit Card for PST/PET will be available from 2 September 2026. Candidates have to download the E-Admit Card online, as admit cards will not be sent by post.

How to Download JKSSB PST/PET Admit Card 2026

Candidates should visit the official JKSSB website and open the E-Admit Card download link available on the homepage. They have to enter their Email ID and Date of Birth to log in.

The Email ID will serve as the username, while the Date of Birth will be used as the password in DDMMYYYY format. After logging in, candidates should click on “View and Print E-Admit Card”, download the admit card and take a clear printout to the examination venue.

Physical Fitness Certificate Mandatory for PET

An important instruction mentioned in the JKSSB notice is that only candidates who fulfil the prescribed Physical Standards Test (PST) requirements will be eligible to participate in the Physical Endurance Test (PET).

Before the PET begins, every candidate is required to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate issued by the concerned Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Candidates without the required Physical Fitness Certificate will not be permitted to participate in the PET.

Important Instructions for JKSSB PST/PET 2026

Candidates should report to their respective PST/PET centres according to the date, time and venue mentioned on their admit card.

Candidates participating in PET are permitted to carry water bottles, juices, electrolyte drinks/ORS, light snacks and other necessary eatables for personal consumption. These should be carried in a backpack or bag and will remain subject to the applicable security and venue regulations.

Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not permitted at the PET venue. Candidates have also been advised to prepare adequately for the physical tests and make suitable arrangements for hydration and other personal requirements.

Candidates should download and print their admit cards well in advance. JKSSB has further stated that candidature may be cancelled at any stage if a candidate is found ineligible or if eligibility has been claimed through misrepresentation, concealment of material facts, impersonation or fraud.

Unable to Download JKSSB Admit Card?

If a candidate is unable to download the admit card, he or she may approach/represent before the Board two days before the examination date with valid proof of having submitted the online application form and online fee.

According to JKSSB, failure to do so will lead to the presumption that the candidate is not interested in appearing in the examination, and no subsequent claim will be entertained.

Admit Card Must Be Submitted After PST/PET

Candidates should note that the printed admit card is not only required for entry. On the day of the PST/PET, candidates have to submit their Admit Card back to the invigilation staff, duly signed by the candidate as well as the concerned invigilator.
