JKSSB Cancellation of withheld recommendations for Posts in Public Works Department
Waiting List for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil), Public Works
(R&B) Department advertised vide Notification No.06 of 2022 dated
11.11.2022, UT Cadre- Cancellation of withheld recommendations
thereof.
Whereas, vide Notification No. 13-Selection of 2024 dated 21.02.2024, the
JKSSB notified the Final Selection List for 855 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) and
subsequently forwarded the same to Public Works (R&B) Departrnent vide letter dated
23.02.2024; and

thereof.
Whereas, the Waiting List for the above Final Selection List was issued on
21.06.2024, and subsequently forwarded the same to Public Works (R&B) Department vide
letter dated 24.06.2024; and Roll No.
Whereas, through the medium of the notification dated 21.06.2024, 82
candidates, whose recommendation was kept withheld on account of various deficiencies,
were provided an opportunity to remove the deficiencies and submit requisite documents
within a period of one month; and 2200061
Whereas, despite lapse of over 07 months the candidates have either not
submitted any document/ clarification report or have submitted insufficient document
therein due to which, their cases could not be cleared; and

Whereas, vide No. JKSSB-Scry/2/2024-03-Part-I dated 14.02.2025, Final
Notice was served to all the 82 candidates to submit their requisite documents/ certificates
within a period of Three (03) days positively from the date of issuance of Final Notice.
Whereas, out of them following 55 candidates have not even responded/
produced any document/ certificate and were subsequently, placed before the authorities,
wherein, they have decided to cancel their withheld recommendation:
