The School Education Department vide letter No. Edu Gen/35/2024/35/2024-01(7383282) dated 12.11.2024 and dated 05.12.2024 referred 51 posts (OM=21, RBA= 05, SC= 04, ST-1= 05, ST-2= 05, ALC/IB = 02, OBC= 04, EWS =05) of Lecturer Chemistry in School Education Department to J&K Public Service Commission for selection; and,
These posts were advertised vide Notification No. 07-PSC (DRP) of 2024 dated 09.12.2024.

The written test was conducted on 12.10.2025 and the result thereof was declared vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2025/61 dated 01.12.2025. 161 candidates were declared to have provisionally qualified the examination for viva-voce.
The Provisional Select List for the post of Lecturer Chemistry in School Education Department vide Notification No. 37-PSC(DR-S) of 2026 dated 19.05.2026, with a stipulation that the selection is provisional, objection if any may be submitted.
whereas, in response to the ibid Notification, the following the presentation have been received from the candidates:-
