Migration of AIS officers in J&K from NPS to UPS
In continuation to the notification issued by this directorate under endorsement no. DGAT/NPS/5/2025/7698685/190 dated 18.06.2025 regarding implementation of Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) for AIS officers in J&K, it is hereby notified that eighty-three (83) AIS officers have submitted their option forms for migration from NPS to UPS. Accordingly, the following UPS-DDOs are designated for processing the migration requests of all such officers who have opted for UPS:
The migration requests shall be authorized by Treasury Officer, Civil Secretariat who is registered as DTO under UPS.
It is impressed upon all UPS DDOs to ensure timely completion of the migration process so that the salary for the month of December 2025 of the concerned UPS employees is drawn without delay and the 10:10 contributions are uploaded/credited to their respective UPS accounts (erstwhile NPS PRANs) in a smooth and uninterrupted manner.
