Appointment of Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist (Vety. Surgery & Radiology)

University Order No.540 (Est.) of 2025 Dated: 27.10.2025

As recommended by the Selection Committee and approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Beenish Qureshi, D/o: Gh. Jeelani Qureshi, R/o: Fair Banks Colony Lane-E, Rawalpora, Srinagar-190005 is hereby appointed as Assistant Professor-cum Junior Scientist(Vety. Surgery & Radiology) under Open Merit on regular temporary basis in the Pre-revised Pay Band+Grade Pay of Rs.15,600-39,100+GP of Rs.6000/- revised to Level-10 of Rs.57,700-1,82,400 of 7th CPC plus allowances as admissible under rules and adjusted against the post of Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist available at Division of Vety. Surgery & Radiology, FVSc. & Ah, SKUAST-K, Shuhama.

The appointment shall be governed by the following terms and conditions, that:

a. the appointee shall join on the post within a period of 21 days of date of issuance of this appointment order, failing which the appointment shall be cancelled abinitio without any further notice;

b. the appointee shall be on probation for a period of two years from the date of joining on the post;

c. during the period of probation, the appointment can be terminated by the University any time without issuing any notice or assigning any reason thereof;

d. the appointee can be posted in any constituent unit of SKUAST-K as and when required;

e. the service conditions of the appointee shall be governed in accordance with the SKUAST-K Statutes and rules of the University as are in force with amendments or as may come into force from time to time, together read with provisions of J&K CSRS, wherever applicable;

f. if any declaration given or information furnished by the appointee, proves to b false or the appointee is found to have wilfully suppressed any material information, she shall be liable for removal from service and such other action as may be deemed necessary;

g. if any document and / or certificate submitted by the appointee is found or proved forged or fake in any way at any point of time, the appointment shall be cancelled ab-initio at the risk and responsibility of the concerned;

h. the appointee shall be required to submit Medical Fitness Certificate from the concerned Competent Authority;
