University Of Jammu Notification Regarding General Updates

The following examination schedule and points of importance are for the general notice/information of all students/concerned

In an effort to streamline the examination schedule, the date sheets for the conduct of examinations for next 3-4 months have been issued and are available on the University website www.coeju.com. whist include the following :

i) UG CBCS 1st (Pvt.), 3rd. 5th and 6th Semesters are starting from 13-12-2022. 23-02-2023. 22-02 2023 and 30-05-2023 respectively.

ii) MBBS First, Second and Final Professional are notified from 01-02-2023, 26-12-2022 and 02-02 2023 respectively.

iii) BE 1st, 3rd. 5th and 7th Semesters (both CBS and Non-CBS) are starting from 23-03-2023. 11-03 2023,14-03-2023 and 25-02-2023 respectively.

The results of UG Semester 2nd and 4th are likely to be ready for declaration before 25th December 2022 and 28th December 2022 respectively. Those Colleges who have not yet sent the Internal Assessment/Practical Awards are requested to send the same forthwith.

The evaluation of at least 300 answer scripts in an academic year has been notified to be mandatory for all the faculty members, permanent as well as eligible contractual. As such, best co-operation of faculty for any assignment which reaches them, is solicited.

The government has notified that there shall be only one academic session and the earlier bifurcation, winter zone/summer zone, has been dispensed with. As such. the winter zone Colleges are called upon to plan for the smooth conduct of examinations for such semesters especially UG 5th Semester.

The IA/Practical Awards (PA) from the Colleges are entertained after the inspection by the team so designated. As such, the Colleges are requested to discourage the practice of sending individual IA/PA, whether original/revised, unless these are attended/countersigned by the Inspectors.

The Colleges are requested to adhere to the last date notified for the online submission of RR, enrolment and examination forms to avoid any complication arising due to the late submission and ensure timely issuance of Roll No. slips to the candidates.

The date sheets for the conduct of PG (DDE/private) candidates shall be uploaded on the University website www.coeju.com by or before 15th of December 2022 for which the students are advised to note.
