GMC Jammu DRDO 500 Bedded Hospital Selection List for Pharmacist Posts
Selection of Pharmacist for 500 bedded temporary COVID Hospital, Jammu in collaboration with Defence Research and Developnment Organization (DRDO)
Whereas, 47 posts of Pharmacist were néwly created for establishment of 500 bedded temporary COVID Hospital in collaboration with DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India vide G.O No. 398-JK (HME) of 2021 Dated 18-05-2021.
Whereas, vide above mentioned G.O Selection Committee was also constituted for Selection of Candidates,for different posts including Pharmacist as under.
Principal, Government Medical College, Jammu : Chairperson
Mission Director, National Health Mission. : Member
Director Health Services, Jammu : Member
Administrator, Associated Hospital, Jammu : Member/Secretary
Representative of Health and Medical Education Department. : Member
Whereas, the Committee approved and issued the criteria for selection of the Pharmacist in the minutes of meeting held on 21-05-2021 which was revised in a
meeting held on 27.05.2021 wherein, the committee exempted the clause of Experience both in the columns of “Eligibility Criteria” and “Selection Criteria” Notified in the Advertisement Notice No. 06/AHJ of 2021 and 07/AHJ of 2021 dated 20-05-2021.
Whereas, 47 posts of Pharmacist were advertised vide Advertisement Notice No. 07 of 2021 Dated 20.05.2021 and the applications were invited from the eligible
candidates for aforementioned posts.
Whereas, the selection committee after thorough examination and scrutiny of the records of the eligible candidates; has recommended the names of 47 candidates for selection to the post of Pharmacist.
In view of above and as recommended by the Selection Committee sanction is hereby accorded to the engagement of 47 Pharmacist as per Annexure “A” and
waiting list as per Annexure “B” with the order.
The selected candidate shall submit his/her joining and report to the office of the Principal, Govt. Medical College, Jammu within 07 days from the date of the
publication of this order/ list in the newspaper. In case, the selected candidate fails to join the Institution within the stipulated period of time, his/ her selection shall
be deemed to have been cancelled without any further notice.
The candidates shall be allowed to join only on the production of documents in original.
The selection is strictly governed by the following Terms and Conditions :
All the contractual appointees, shall be paid full salary corresponding to the Minimum of the Pay Scale including all allowances as long as they remain in the services and actually perform their duties.
The candidates are selected on contractual basis for 500 bedded Temporary COVID Hospital established in collaboration with DRDO.
The contractual appointee shall have to furnish an affidavit to the extent that they will not claim regular appointment at any future date on the strength of the
The contractual selection shall be terminable on one month notice from either side or on payment of one month salary in lieu notice by the appointing authority; provided that the appointment of the contracting party shall be terminable without notice by the appointing authority when ever the post is filled up on regular basis by it and in that case the contracting party shall have no claim against the Government/ appointing authority.
The selection of the candidate will be purely on contractual basis under newly created posts of 500 bedded temporary COVID Hospital in collaboration with the
Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) initially for a period of one year.
If the contractual appointee at any point of time willfully neglects or refuses to perform his/her duties, the Appointing authority shall immediately terminate
his/her contractual appointment without any notice and he/she shall not be entitled to any salary for such period.
In case of poor performance, services of the candidates are liable to be terminated without any prior notice.
The selected candidates shall bring following documents/certificates in original at the time of joining :
Academic/Technical Qualification Certificate
Date of Birth Certificate.
Health Certificate from the concerned Chief Medical Officer of the District.
Domicile Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
Certificate from the concerned District Industrles Centre (DIC) and the District Employment and Counseling Centre to the effect that no loan under selt employment scheme has been taken by the appointee
Relevant Category Certificate.
Character Certificate from the concerned Police Station.
The candidates shall have to execute an agreement stating that he/she will not take part in any kind of political activity and strikes.
The selected candidates shall have to submit an affidavit duly attested by the Executive Magistrate 1st-Class stating that he/ she accepts all the terms and conditions mentioned in the selection/ engagement order.
