Selection list Released for Junior Resident post in GMC Anantnag

Whereas, this office vide Advertisement Notice No. 08 GMCA of 2026, Dated: 24.04.2026 invited applications from the eligible candidates possessing requisite
qualifications for filling up tenure posts of Junior Residents in the Government Medical College, Anantnag; and
Whereas, the written test for the said posts was conducted on 1st of June, 2026 at Main Campus Dialgam, GMC Anantnag; and
GCW Parade Jammu Recruitment 2026
Whereas, the merit list of candidates who appeared in the said written test was published vide this office notification dated 16.06.2026; and
Whereas, this office already issued selection list for filling up vacant posts of Junior Residents in GMC Anantnag vide Notification No. 11 GMCA of 2026, Dated:
03.07.2026;
Whereas, pursuant to the aforesaid selection notification, only a limited number of selected candidates have joined and reported for their respective assignments,
resulting in certain posts remaining unfilled; and
Whereas, additional vacancies have also arisen subsequently due to resignation/non-joining of some Junior Residents, thereby necessitating further selection
against the available vacancies;
Now, therefore, on the basis of merit, availability of vacancies and the position arising out of non-joining/resignation of Junior Residents, the candidates as
annexed in Annexure “A” to this notification are provisionally selected as Junior Residents initially for a period of six (06) months extendable upto one year subject to the satisfactory performance to be certified by the concerned Head of the Department.
The selected candidates are directed to report the Establishment Section (Main Campus) of Govt. Medical College Anantnag within 14 days from the date of
publication of this notification along with following documents (original as well as photocopies) for verification :
Govt Boys Hostel Poonch Hiring 2026
1) MBBS Degree Certificate issued by the concerned University/Institution.
2) Internship completion certificate.
3) J&K Medical Council Registration Certificate of MBBS.
4) Attempt Certificate, if applicable.
