JK High Court Important Notification for Various Posts

(1) Consequent upon the finalization of selection/appointment of three namely S/Shri Shabroz Ahmad Rather (OM), Bisma Jan (OM} and Sarvar Ahmad Sheergojrie (OM/OBC} as Junior Scale Stenographers from amongst the waiting list duly issued vide High Court Notification No. 102 of 2025/RG/NG-444(1) dated 22-01-2025 and the approval accorded by the Hon’ble Chief Justice to the recommendations of the Hon’ble Committee for Appointment and Promotion of Officials/Officers of the High Court Staff,
following fresh category wise waiting list of the candidates for t he post of Junior Scale Stenographer in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and ladakh is hereby notified as under and shall remain in force for a period of one year :

2) List of candidates with Document Deficiency, who have applied for the post of Junior Assistant, advertisement vide Notification No 06 of 2024/Psy dated 28.08.2024.

1. Pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2024 dated 28.08.2024 online applications were invited for the post of Junior Assistant and candidates were provided time to select their desired Divisional cadre. However1 several candidates failed to select
the Divisional cadre at the time of cadre selection. As per Notification No. 2510 of 2024/Psy dated 05.10.20241 it was notified that “if any of the candidate fails to choose the cadre, their option of the Divisional cadre shall be determined on the basis of their Domicile as per Domicile certificate”.

2. Therefore} for the purpose of cadre allotment to these candidates~ their Domicile certificates were scrutinized and it was found that some of these candidates have uploaded wrong document instead of Domicile certificate and some of the Domicile certificates have been found not of the UT of J&K.

3. In view of the above} the list of candidates whose names have been mentioned in the Annexure-A of this notice are hereby informed to remove/makeup the deficiency by submitting the required document by or before 21.02.2025, by sending the deficient document on email [email protected] or in person in the Office of Principal Secretary to Honble the Chief Justice1 High court of J&K and Ladakh. In easel any candidate fails to remove/makeup the deficiencies within the stipulated time1 his/her candidature shall be treated as cancelled without any further notice.

4. Further1 if any candidate is found to be ineligible at any stage of selection~ his/her candidature shall be cancelled.

3) Appointment of Junior Scale Stenographer in the High Court of J&K and Ladakh pursuant to Advertisement Notice No. 02 of
2024/RR/RG dated 09-05-2024.

Whereas, pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2024/RR/RG dated 09-05-2024 and subsequent corrigendum issued thereto on 29-07-2024, select list/appointment orders along with waiting list of the candidates for the post of Junior Scale Stenographers in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh was issued vide Order No. 109 of 2025/RG/NG-444(1) dated
22-01-2025 read with Notification No. 102 of 2025/RG/NG-444(1) dated 22-01-2025

Whereas, after the issuance of the select list, three candidates namely Sunil Kumar, Manik Kesar and Shahid Manzoor, figuring at serial Nos. 1, 4 and 5 of the select list submitted a joint application dated 22-01-2025, stating therein that they are not willing to join against the posts of Junior Scale Stenographers in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh as they have
been selected as Senior Scale Stenographers and have already joined as such. Whereas, on account of non-joining of these three candidates belonging to the OM category, the next three candidates figuring in the waiting list namely Shri Shabroz Ahmad Rather, Ms. Bisma Jan and Shri Vansh Kumar Sharma are falling in the consideration zone against the resultant three vacancies.
