JKBOPEE Provisional Merit List of B.Ed. course-2024

Provisional Merit List/Result for admission to the B.Ed. course-2024, after conduct of the Common Entrance Test by the J&K BOPEE at Srinagar/Jammu on 14th April, 2024.

Reference: i) Notification No. 014-BOPEE of 2024 dated 27-02-2024.

The Provisional Merit List /Result of all the candidates, who had appeared in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the J&K BOPEE in pursuance to the Notification No. 014-BOPEE of 2024 dated 27-02-2024 read with Notice No.002-BOPEE of 2024 dated 15-03-2024 for admission to the B.Ed. Courses-2024 at the Institute of Advance Studies in Education, Srinagar/Composite Regional Centre, Srinagar/Government College of Education, Jammu is hereby notified as per the Annexure-A to this Notification. The Entrance test was conducted at both centres Jammu & Srinagar in which total of 431 candidates appeared in the Common entrance Test with 355 at Jammu & 76 at Srinagar resp.

The Board has not received any representation(s) against the Answer Key of Common Entrance Test within the stipulated time which was uploaded on website of the Board on 14-04-2024 & hence result was prepared accordingly.

In case two or more candidates have obtained the same marks in the Entrance Test, the Inter-se-Merit/ Tie of such candidates have to been resolved as per provisions defined at Page No. 20, Point No.14 of e-Information Brochure which is also available on the official website of Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in).

As per provisions defined at Point No.15, Page No.20-21 of e-Information Brochure, the candidate(s), who have any objection against his/her result, if any, shall have to submit a written representation(s) along with a payment receipt of Rs.1000/- to be paid through POS Machine at the BOPEE offices Srinagar/Jammu for the purpose of re-totaling of marks. The representation(s) in this regard shall be received upto three days of uploading of this Notification on the BOPEE website by the Board after the declaration of result. No representation shall be entertained after the expiry of the prescribed time limit.

The candidate(s) figuring in the Annexure-A to this Notification whose Marks Card/Result was awaited or who had uploaded expired/invalid Reserved Category Certificate(s) and pending Domicile Certificate(s) at the time of submission of their Online Application Forms, were provisionally allowed to appear in the Entrance Test subject to the condition that they shall have to submit the same during or before the counseling date as and when notified by the Board or have to submit the same in the respective College(s) at the time of admission, in case he/she is selected for admission on provisional basis or as may be decided and notified by the Board in due course of time.

Further, the candidate(s), who need correction in their particulars i.e. Name, Parentage, D.O.B, Category Certificate and Gender, if any, are also advised to represent physically at the BOPEE Office Jammu/Srinagar for rectification of their errors within ten days of issuance of the Notification.

Note:

i) After the issuance of new S.O 176 dated 15-03-2024, issued by Social Welfare Department, J&K Government regarding new reservation policy, the Board shall now allot seats accordingly strictly as per new S.O. 176. Hence the candidates who wants to change their category as amended in new S.O. 176 are advised to submit their new category certificate physically at BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar (wherever applicable) within ten days of issuance of this Notification failing which they shall not be entitled for claiming any seat under old categories, which are now not available in new S.O. 176 and no further claim(s) shall be entertained by the Board from any candidate thereof.

ii) As already mentioned in Notification No. 014-BOPEE of 2024 dated 27-02-2024 at note Para viii:-

“The seats in the above Institutions shall be filled by the Board only after productions of the approval / permission from the Regulatory Authority (NRC/NCTE) for running B.Ed. Courses 2024 by Govt. College for Education at Srinagar/ Jammu. However, the candidates shall submit their online application form keeping in view the above condition and at their own risk and responsibility”.

iii) Further, in reference to letter issued by Higher Education Department, J&K Government vide letter No. HED-GAZ/137/2023-04 dated 12-03-2024 in which Department has advised the Board that the final select list may, be issued after the approval from Govt. of India is received.

Hence accordingly, the counseling schedule for admission to the B.Ed. Courses in these Institutions shall be notified in due course of time. The candidates are advised to visit the official website of Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in) for daily updates. The Annexure-A shall only remain available on the official website of the Board www.jkbopee.gov.in
