Selection list of the Candidates for the Post of Junior Assistants (Divisional Cadre Kashmir/ Jammu)
Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board vide communication No. SSB/Secy/Se1/2015/16481-64 dated 21-122015 forwarded selection list of 78 candidates for the posts of Junior Assistants(Divisional Cadre Kashmir/ Jammu) advertised vide Advertisement Notice No. 06 of 2013 dated 10 June 2013 along with waiting list of 18 candidates In Open Merit; and
Whereas, the formal appointment orders were issued by Finance Department vide Government Order No. 17-F of 2016 dated 19-01-2016, G.O. No. 60-F of 2016 dated 01.03-2016, G.O. No. 150-F of 2016 dated 20-06-2016, G.O. No. 151-F of 2016 dated 20-06-2016 & G.O. No. 152-F of 2016 dated 20-06-2016,
in respect of the selected candidates with the directions to report to Excise/Commercial Taxes Departments as the case may be; and
Whereas, the appointees were required to report in the respective Department(s) within a period of 21 days from the date of issue of the order failing which their appointment was deemed to have been cancelled without any further notice; and
Whereas, the Excise/Commercial Departments have intimated that following fifteen candidates have not joined in the Excise/Commercial Taxes Departments till date
Whereas; the matter has been examined and it has been found that the issue being appointment in Government Sery ce, warrants reasonable opportunity to be given to all of the above 15 candidates to report to Excise /Commercial Taxes Departments; and
Whereas, anothe opportunity was provided to all the above 15 appointees vide this department’s notice dated 30-1 -2016 and they were asked to report Excise/Commercial Taxes Departments within a period of 10 days from the date of issuance of the said notice; and
Whereas, the Excise Commissioner, J&K, Jammu vide communication No. EC/Adm/267/2367 dated 06 Dec 2016 has intimated that the below mentioned three appointees have already joined In Excise Department vide Government Order No. 151-F of 2016 dated 20-06-2016, while as, the Commissioner, Commercial Taxes vide communication No. 305/Adm/2037/CCT dated 02-2017 intimated that only one appointee mentioned below has joined after issuance of final notice.
