Selection of Candidates for the post of Class-IV in Revenue Department District Srinagar

Ref:   i. This office advertisement notice No. DCS/ESTT/2016/864-70 Dated 6.08.2016. General Administration Department Adv. Notice No. 01 -GAD of 2014 Dated:-27-06-2014.

Whereas thirty Six (36) number of Class-IV posts in different categories were advertised vide this office notification No:  DCS/ ESTT/ 2016/864-70 Dated 6.08.201

Whereas the categorization of posts vide above referred notification was as under

Whereas 4838 number of applications forms were received by the office of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar against thirty six (36) numbers of posts advertised.

Whereas during scrutiny of the application forms, several candidates had submitted incomplete forms, accordingly notice was issued for the candidates to report to Deputy Commissioner’s Office Srinagar along with supporting documents vide notice number SDM/SGR/ESTT/537 Dated 31.03.2018. up to 10.04.2018.

Whereas in view of the number of applications received against the posts being huge and it becomes imperative to shortlist the candidates on the basis of their academic merit in matriculation and higher secondary examination, accordingly as per the rules notified by the General Administration Department vide notice No:-01-GAD of 2014 Dated:-27-06-2014, the criteria for shortlisting of candidates is as under

III.	Qualification (up to 10+2)	=

The cut off Point’s of shortlisted candidate’s category wise is as below:-

1.	OM	82.16 points
2.	RBA	29.16 points
3.	Schedule Caste	50.62 points
4.	Schedule Tribe	37.80 points
5.	Physically Handicapped	57.36 points

Further vide the above notification of General Administration Department the Candidates called for the interview should be five times the number of vacancies and accordingly short listing of the candidates for the post of Class-IV has been done.

It is for the information of those candidates (if any) who find their merit as per the above mentioned criteria in their relevant categories to be above or equal to the cut-off point and whose Form Number does not appear in annexure for interview to report to the office of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar along with the relevant documents by or before 12-06-2018 after which no claim shall be entertained. The list of the shortlisted candidates as per Form Numbers annexed at “A” to this notification are advised to report to the office of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar at 10.00 AM along with the original certificates and allied documents for interview on the dates shown against each.

No TA/DA is admissible.
