University of Kashmir Various Notifications
(1) Counselling Notice-3 PG Programmes (OM/Reserved Categories) (Session-2024)
In view of available resultant vacant seats which remained vacant due to non-completion of admission related formalities/cancellation of admissions by the selected candidates in various PG programmes offered at Main Campus, Satellite Campuses and Govt./Private affiliated PG and Law Colleges, itis notified for information of all concerned candidates that counselling sessions for below mentioned PG Programmes session-2024 have been scheduled on the date and time given against each to be held at Directorate of Admissions & Competitive Examinations, 1st floor (erstwhile ITSS Block), University of Kashmir. Only those candidates are eligible for
counseling who are figuring in the General Merit lists available on the University website and have obtained the entrance test points mentioned against each Programme/Course. However, the candidates who have been selected and have completed the admission formalities needn’t appear in the said counselling session for the respective programme.
The candidate shall obtain / fill counselling form at the time of counselling.
Furthermore, the candidates whose result have been updated and have appeared in the entrance test can also appear in the said counselling, if having higher merit than the cutoff.

(2) Consequent upon the seats which remained vacant due to non-completion of admission formalities by some candidates, the candidates whose particulars are mentioned below have been selected provisionally for admission to M.Ed. programme offered at Main Campus, University of Kashmir, Satellite Campuses and affiliated College purely on the basis of academic percentage obtained by them in the qualifying examination.
Important Note :-
The Heads/Directors/Coordinators of all the concerned Departments/Institutes/Centres/Campus who are the Chairman of the Departmental Admission Committee, shall ensure that all the selected candidates possess the minimum required eligibility, the same may be verified by the original documents/certificates of the candidate.
The admission of the candidates is subject to:-
1. Production of all relevant original documents {Marks Card/s of qualifying examination, Domicile certificate, Character and Provisional certificates of the Institution last attended (if applicable), Migration Certificate};
2. Production of eligibility cum revival of registration/migration form wherever applicable along with prescribed fee;
3. Fulfilling of minimum required eligibility conditions to be verified by the concerned Department;
4. Clearance be sought from the Academic Section in respect of candidates having qualified examination from Universities /Institutions other than Universities/Institutions of Kashmir Division and Jammu University;
5. NOC from the concerned Department in case of In-service candidates;
6. Production of an affidavit sworn in before 1st Class Judicial/Executive Magistrate stating that:
o I am not on rolls of any Institution;
o All the submitted certificates/documents are genuine;
o I shall strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the University in toto;
o I understand that in case of any misinformation or concealment of any information or indiscipline, my admission to the programme shall be cancelled and I shall be subjected to legal action;
o I submit this affidavit under free will without any pressure, compulsion, fraud or coercion.
The provisionally selected candidates shall download their online Admission Forms from official website of the University of Kashmir www.kashmiruniversity.net from 21-10-2024 by entering their Entrance Test No. and shall have to approach along with all the relevant original certificates and self attested Xerox copies of certificates/documents to the concerned Department/Campus/Colleges for verification of documents/certificates and acceptance of Admission form for depositing the prescribed Fee online mode from 21-10-2024 to 25-10-2024 (working days only). Any provisionally selected candidate failing to complete the admission formalities upto 25-10-2024 shall forfeit his/her right to admission.

(3) Consequent upon the seats which remained vacant due to non-completion of admission formalities by some candidates, the candidates whose particulars are mentioned below have been selected provisionally for admission to MBA Programme offered at South Campus (Anantnag), GDC (Nawakadal Srinagar), SSM College (Parihaspora Pattan) and IITM College (Hyderpora, Srinagar) Programme and MBA-CME offered at CDI, Nowshehra, Srinagar purely on the basis of Academic percentage obtained by them in the
qualifying examinations.
Important Note :-
The Chairman of Departmental Admission Committee, shall ensure that all the selected candidates possess the minimum required eligibility and have category certificate (if selected under any reserved category) valid upto 11-07-2024 the same may be verified by
the original documents/certificates of the candidate. No authority slip shall be issued by the Chairman of the Admission Committee to the candidates who aren’t eligible.
The admission of the candidates is subject to :-
1. Production of all relevant original documents {Marks Card/s of qualifying examination, Domicile certificate, Character and Provisional certificates of the Institution last attended, valid Reserved Category certificate (wherever applicable), Migration Certificate};
2. Production of eligibility cum revival of registration/migration form wherever applicable along with fee;
