The first semi-final will be played in Cape Town on November 17 and the second in Tshwane on November 18, with the final scheduled in Johannesburg on November 21. Group B comprises New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, England, Bangladesh and Qualifier B. South Africa will begin their campaign against New Zealand in Cape Town on October 9, while co-hosts Zimbabwe will open against Qualifier A in Bulawayo on the same day. South Africa’s other matches are against Qualifier B in Paarl on October 13, against England in Gqeberha on October 16, versus Bangladesh in Durban on October 19, and against Sri Lanka in Johannesburg on October 22. England face New Zealand in Gqeberha on October 23 while Bangladesh face Qualifier B on the same day, wrapping up the Group B matches.

The group stage will feature 12 double-header days. India feature on four of those days – October 10, October 14, October 17 and October 24.

The tournament will begin on October 2 with a three-team Super Series in Windhoek involving the second, third, and fourth-placed teams from the Cricket World Cup Qualifier. The three sides will play each other once on October 2, 4 and 6, with the team finishing top claiming the final spot in the group stage. The winner of the Qualifier will progress directly to the group stage.

Ten of the 14 teams were confirmed at the September 30, 2026 qualification cut-off. Hosts South Africa and Zimbabwe qualified directly, alongside the eight highest-ranked teams in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings. The remaining four places will be decided through the Cricket World Cup Qualifier, with the winner going directly into the group stage and the other three teams entering the Super Series.

India, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, England, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh qualified through the rankings, joining hosts South Africa and Zimbabwe. Namibia, despite being a co-host, is among the teams whose qualification has not yet been secured, while West Indies will also feature in the Qualifier.

The ICC has pre-seeded seven positions for the Super 7 phase to provide greater certainty around fixture pathways and venue allocations. India are designated A1, Australia A2, Pakistan A3, England AB4, New Zealand B1, South Africa B2 and Sri Lanka B3. If a team that is not among the pre-seeded sides qualifies for the Super 7 while a seeded team fails to advance, it will take over that team’s designated position.

A total of 57 matches will be played in the tournament across the Super Series, group stage, Super 7 phase, and the knockouts. The tournament will be staged across 12 venues – eight in South Africa, three in Zimbabwe and one in Namibia.

South Africa will host matches in Cape Town, Paarl, Johannesburg, Tshwane, Bloemfontein, Durban, KuGompo City and Gqeberha. Zimbabwe’s venues are Harare, Bulawayo and the Mosi-oa-Tunya Stadium in Victoria Falls, while the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek will host the three Super Series matches as well as three group games.

Durban and Windhoek will host the most matches, with six each. Cape Town, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Gqeberha will stage five matches apiece, while Tshwane, Paarl, KuGompo City, Harare and Victoria Falls will host four each. Bulawayo will stage two matches.
