Big Update on Govt Teachers for TET

The J&K Legislative Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution urging the Government of India to exempt teachers appointed before 31 October 2019 from the requirement of TET.

This is in line with the commitment of the J&K Government to safeguard the interests and dignity of our teachers.

The Government has already approached the Hon’ble Supreme Court on this important issue and will continue to pursue all available legal and constitutional avenues.

We remain committed to ensuring that the interests of teachers who have served our children and society for years are duly protected.
