‘Ceasefire is OVER’: Trump says US has agreed to continue talks with Iran but…

Trump announced that the US-Iran ceasefire was over despite Tehran seeking further talks. The statement followed renewed fighting, Gulf missile attacks and Khamenei’s burial in Mashhad.

US President Donald Trump on Friday declared that the ceasefire between the United States and Iran was “over”, saying Washington had agreed to continue talks with Tehran but had made its position clear after two days of renewed military exchanges.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has asked us to continue ‘talks.’ We have agreed to do so, but the United States has stated to them, in no uncertain terms, that the Cease Fire is OVER! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
