DSEK Orders Installation of Complaint Boxes in North Kashmir Schools and Offices
The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has instructed all schools and education offices across the North Kashmir districts of Bandipora, Baramulla, and Kupwara to install Complaint Boxes as part of an initiative to improve transparency, accountability, and grievance redressal.
Key Highlights :
Complaint Boxes must be placed at clearly visible and easily accessible locations in every school and office.
They will be opened periodically by the Head of the Institution/Office or an officer authorised for the purpose.
A proper record of complaints received and the action taken must be maintained.
All concerned institutions have been directed to complete the installation within seven days from the date of the circular.
The move is aimed at strengthening the grievance redressal system while promoting greater transparency and accountability within the School Education Department.
