Fire under control at residential-cum-commercial building in Anantnag
A fire broke out this evening at a residential-cum-commercial building in the City Chowk area of Anantnag, officials said.
Officials told the news agency that being the first responders, the fire services department swung into action. He added the incident was reported at approximately 7:14 PM, thereafter which multiple firefighting units were pushed to the spot.
They added the triple-storey building with accommodation, was engulfed within no time. “Pressed into the blaze were additional firefighting units from Mattan and Achabal to the scene of action,” added officials.
He added, fire has been controlled, and no casualties or injuries have been reported.
