After son’s death, man dies of heart attack
In a tragic incident here today at Tethar area, a man collapsed due to heart attack after his sick son died in his lap while being shifted to a hospital and the incident has spread shock waves across the area.
Sources informed that Shabir Ahmed Gania, 45, was shifting his ailing son Sahil Ahmed, 14, to a nearby hospital and the child collapsed in the lap of his father en-route hospital.
Hit by the loss of his son, the man had a fatal heart attack which claimed his life.
Bodies of the son-father were brought to Sub-District Hospital Banihal from where their relatives took the bodies for last rites.
However, the doctors who attended the bodies informed that both have died of cardiac arrest.
