Kashmir News: Indigo flight makes emergency landing in Srinagar- all 227 passengers and crew safe

Kashmir News: An Indigo flight 6E 2142 made an Emergency Landing at Srinagar airport, after turbulences hit the aircraft and damaged it’s front portion.

However, all passengers and crew are safe

Indigo 6E-2142 Delhi-Srinagar hit severe turbulence, damaging the aircraft’s front and causing panic among passengers. Crew managed the situation, but a terrifying ordeal for all onboard…..

An eyewitnesses told local news agency, I was in the plane and heading back home from Srinagar…

It was near death experience…the nose of the plane is damaged ….

Indigo flight call sign 6E2142 (Reg VTIMD) enroute DEL-SXR experienced bad weather (hail storm), emergency reported by Pilot to ATC SXR. Carrying passengers 227 .

However flight landed Safely at Srinagar at 1830hrs. All Aircrew and passengers are safe and flight is declared AOG by Airline.
