Night travel should be avoided due to the apprehension of shooting stones and landslides, movement of nomads from the valley, and ongoing construction work between Ramban and Banihal, which may cause inconvenience to commuters.
In view of widening work being undertaken by NHAI on the Digdol-Khooni Nallah axis on the Jammu–Srinagar NHW, the movement of Kashmir-bound oil and gas tankers shall remain restricted on this stretch during daytime, between 0700 hrs and 1900 hrs, as the movement of tankers loaded with inflammable material is restricted through tunnels.
