J&K: Attack on police team: Police launch crackdown on drug peddlers, several arrested
In the aftermath of attack on police team in which Station House Officer among four police personnel were critically injured, police team have arrested several persons in a fresh raid conducted in Balole Khad at Bari Brahmana in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that police team led by new Station House Officer, Bari Brahmana, conducted raid in Balole Khad and Gujjar Basti and nabbed the persons involved in drug trade and those attacked the police team last week.
“The searches were conducted on specific inputs about the presence of drug peddlers in the area,” they said.
