The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued Government Order No. 1702-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated 30 October 2026, regarding the reconstitution of the Board of Directors of the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO).

The order has been issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) in terms of Articles 113 and 114 of the Articles of Association of the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization. It also supersedes all previous government orders issued on the subject.

Reconstitution of JKTPO Board of Directors

As per the government order, the Board of Directors of the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization has been reconstituted with the following members:

1. Hon’ble Minister-in-charge, Industries & Commerce Department – Chairperson.

2. Administrative Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department – Director.

3. Administrative Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj – Director.

4. Administrative Secretary, Tourism Department – Director.

5. Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization – Director.

6. Director, Handicrafts & Handloom, Kashmir – Director.

7. Director, Handicrafts & Handloom, Jammu – Director.

8. Representative of Finance Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) – Director.

9. Representative of Agriculture Production Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) – Director.

10. Any other Director, as deemed necessary, to be co-opted by the Chairperson – Director.

Government Order Details

The order has been issued by the General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu and Kashmir.

The order has been circulated to the concerned administrative departments, senior government officers, Managing Director of JKTPO and other relevant authorities for information and necessary action.
