Power supply across Kashmir has been badly disrupted following widespread damage to electricity infrastructure, the Jammu and Kashmir government said on Thursday.

Officials stated that strong winds have caused large-scale uprooting of trees, many of which have fallen onto power transmission and distribution lines, leading to extensive outages.
