MeT Predicts Dry Weather in J&K till Sept 30
he Meteorological Centre Srinagar today issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, indicating a mix of dry and wet weather conditions over the next few days.
A dry spell is expected to prevail from September 26 to 30. This dry period is likely to extend until October 5, late afternoon/evening.
However, a change in weather pattern is expected from October 6 to 8, with generally cloudy skies and few spells of light rain predicted at isolated to scattered places in J&K. Higher reaches and extremely higher reaches may experience light snowfall during this period.
Meanwhile, a gradual fall in day and night temperatures is expected from September 29 onwards. Farmers are advised to take advantage of the current dry spell and continue harvesting paddy and other farm operations.
