MeT Predicts Generally Dry Weather In J&K Till Oct 24

Srinagar, Oct 16: The Meteorological Department has predicted generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir till October 24, with a brief spell of rain likely at a few places on Friday.

An official of MeT told GNS that as per the forecast, October 16 will remain generally dry with brief spell of rain at a few places, while October 17 to 24 will remain generally dry.

The MeT has predicted cloudy weather with light rain at scattered places and light snow over higher reaches, accompanied by thunder and gusty winds, from October 25 to 27.

Meanwhile, farmers have been advised to resume harvesting and other farm operations in view of the dry spell.(GNS)
