Omar appeals to PM to honour promise of restoring statehood to J&K
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah while hailing PM Modi for inaugurating Sonmarg tunnel also reminded him of his promise of restoring statehood to J&K that he had made during his visit to Srinagar in June last year.
PM Modi during his speech on Yoga Divas had stated that J&K will be having Assembly elections and thereafter it will get back its statehood.
CM Omar Abdullah hailed PM for reducing distances between hearts and Delhi and holding fairest of all Assembly polls in J&K, said that the people of the territory are looking forward to fulfill his third and most important promise to restore statehood.
