Suspicious bag triggers panic on Jammu-Rajouri highway in J&K

Jammu, Aug 26: Panic spread along the Jammu-Rajouri highway in Rajouri district on Wednesday after a suspicious bag emitting a pungent foul smell was found near a culvert in the Sunderbani area, officials said.

Police reached the spot after locals reported the bag and found the decomposed carcass of a wild boar inside it, they said.

Mortar shell detected, destroyed along LoC in J&K Poonch

Sub-Inspector Kuldeep Kumar confirmed that the bag contained the decomposed carcass of a wild boar, which had caused the strong foul smell.
