Poonch Schools to Remain Closed on July 31 Due to Adverse Weather Conditions
📢 School Closure Update | Poonch
In view of the adverse weather conditions and as per the advisory issued by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Poonch, all Government and Private Schools in District Poonch shall remain closed on Friday, July 31, 2026.
The closure applies to:
All students
Teaching staff
Non-teaching staff
The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of students and school employees amid the prevailing weather conditions.
Furthermore, all Heads of Institutions, Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs), and Private School Managements have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the closure order.
