Traffic Advisory Issued Ahead Of LG-Led Mega Padyatra In J&K Ganderbal

ADVISORY

In view of Mega Rally (Padh Yatra) being conducted as part of ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, scheduled in town Ganderbal on 5th of June, 2026, the movement of vehicular traffic from:

Pandach Crossing to Wayil-Manigam Crossing

Beehama Chowk to Barsoo Crossing

T-Chowk to Gadoora

shall remain completely suspended from 04:00 hours to 15:00 hours.

As such, motorists are advised to avoid undue travel in town Ganderbal during the event. However, for obstacle-free movement of general traffic, motorists are advised to adopt the following diversions & routes:

Diversion Routes

i. Srinagar-bound vehicular traffic from Ladakh, Sonamarg, Kangan areas shall be diverted at Wayil-Manigam Crossing via:
Shadipora ⇒ Shalteng ⇒ Srinagar and vice-versa.

ii. Srinagar-bound vehicular traffic from Guthlibagh area shall be allowed via:
Wayil-Manigam Crossing ⇒ Shadipora ⇒ Shalteng ⇒ Srinagar and vice-versa.

iii. Srinagar-bound vehicular traffic from Lar/Tulmulla area shall move via:
Dangarpora ⇒ Barsoo Crossing ⇒ Shadipora ⇒ Shalteng ⇒ Srinagar and vice-versa.
