Traffic police Jammu advisory For Tiranga Yatra On 12th August 2025
On the eve of Independence Day-2025, the Tiranga Yatra of Jammu District will be organized on 12th August, 2025 at 06:25 AM. The Yatra will commence from PHQ Gulshan Ground Gandhi Nagar and will follow the route PHQ Main Gate – Jammu University back Gate – P/S Bagh-e-Bahu Crossing – Gujjar Nagar Bridge – Samadhi Cut and will culminate at Maharaja Hari Singh Park opp. JDA Parking Early Times Office.
Hence for ensuring smooth conducting of Tiranga Yatra-2025, the route of Tiranga Yatra shall be kept free from traffic and as such the following traffic diversions will be made applicable during the movement of participants:
DIVERSION:
All kind of vehicles coming from Bikram Chowk bound for Panama Chowk shall be diverted from Bikram Chowk towards DPL Cut for their further destination.
All kind of vehicles coming from Qasim Nagar bound for Bikram Chowk shall be diverted from Qasim Nagar towards Narwal Chowk and shall follow the route Narwal Chowk – Panama Chowk – Fire Emergency Station – DPL Cut towards their further destination.
All kind of vehicles coming from Panama Chowk bound for Bikram Chowk shall be diverted towards Fire Emergency Station – DPL Cut for their further destination.
All kind of vehicles coming from Circular Road bound for Vivekananda Chowk shall be diverted from D.C Office Crossing and shall proceed via Residency Road for their further destination.
All kind of vehicles coming from Vivekananda Chowk bound for Gujjar Nagar shall be diverted towards Residency Road for their further destination.
General Public is requested to cooperate with Traffic Police for ensuring smooth conduct of the event and better traffic regulation.
