Two Killed, Three Injured As Baleno Car Meets With Accident In Kathua
The death toll in the Sarthal road accident has reached two after one more injured succumbed.
Officials told that a Baleno car met with a major accident at Sarthal Mode in Tehsil Bani of Kathua district on Friday.
Initially one person identified as Monika, wife of Suveer Kotwal, age 29 years, resident of Dandi Bhaderwah, was killed.
Now, Balwant Kotwal, son of Bajnath Kotwal, age 61 years, resident of Dandi Bhaderwah, who was injured in the accident, has also succumbed to his injuries.
With this, two persons have died and three others are injured.
The injured have been identified as Suveer Kotwal, son of Balwan Singh, age 33 years, resident of Dandi Bhaderwah; Parshanta Kotwal, son of Balwant, age 59 years, resident of Bhaderwah; and Vikram Singh, son of Ranjeet Singh, age 33 years, resident of Purkhu Damana Jammu.
All injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
