Unidentified Persons Fire at Actor Tiger Shroff
Unidentified persons fired at actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, though he escaped unhurt, police said.
The incident took place near Pushpa Park under Juhu police station limits in the western suburb.
The sequence of events leading to the firing is being pieced together, an official said.”Shroff is safe and has not sustained any injuries in the firing incident,” the official reiterated.
As per preliminary reports, three to four rounds were fired at Shroff’s car as he was leaving a ground in his vehicle.
A large crowd had gathered to see him, and several rounds were fired at his car from within the crowd, according to Mumbai Police.
Shroff was not hit by any bullets. While rumours have quickly linked the attack to Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Anil Pandit behind the firing, the Bishnoi gang has in the past used social media to claim responsibility for attacks. A massive manhunt has been launched to nab those involved. Specialised teams are examining CCTV footage from the area to gather leads, the official added.
