Srinagar, Nov 7 : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and MLA Waheed-ur-Rehman Para on Saturday raised concerns over the age criteria prescribed in Jammu and Kashmir Bank’s latest recruitment notification for Probationary Officers (PO) and Banking Associates, demanding an increase in the upper age limit to 40 years.
In a post on X, as per news agency , MLA Para termed the existing age limit of 20 to 30 years unfair to thousands of overage aspirants, stating that many educated youth have been waiting for recruitment opportunities for years.
Drawing a comparison with Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recruitment norms, he questioned why JK Bank aspirants were not being granted a similar upper age relaxation of up to 40 years.
