A well-marked cloud band has developed over North Pakistan and is now moving towards Jammu and Kashmir.

Expect moderate to heavy rain showers across several parts of Jammu and Kashmir over the next 8–12 hours.

Some places may witness intense downpours accompanied by lightning and hailstorms.

There is also a risk of isolated cloudburst events, flash floods, and landslides, particularly over the Jammu region.
