- Renowned Carnatic musician T M Krishna will be conferred the prestigious Sangita Kalanidhi award by The Music Academy, Madras.
- This award, considered the Oscar equivalent for Carnatic music, is given away by the Music Academy in Chennai.
- On stage, Krishna is an iconoclast who boldly breaks tradition while staying within the grammar of music.

2. Assam Legislative Assembly Organises NeVA In Guwahati
- Union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in collaboration with the Assam Legislative Assembly organised National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) in Guwahati for a paperless legislative process and enhanced connectivity with all the Government departments of Assam.
- The NeVA implementation will revolutionize the operational dynamics of the Assam Legislative Assembly by facilitating the electronic laying of all paperless on the House.

3. 25th Edition Of Flora Expo 2024 In Kathmandu
- The ongoing 25th edition of the Flora Expo 2024 at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu is attracting plant lovers from across Nepal.
- The Expo Organised by the Floriculture Association of Nepal.
- 73 stalls including 60 commercial ones, three landscaping, agricultural equipment and others are on display at the Flora expo.
- The Expo showcased many popular imported flowers from the Netherlands, West Africa and Japan along with indigenous Himalaya flora species.
