1. Vasudev Devnani unanimously elected Rajasthan Assembly Speaker
- Former minister and five-term BJP MLA Vasudev Devnani was unanimously elected as the Speaker of the Rajasthan Assembly by a voice vote.
- Devnani won the Ajmer (North) seat and belongs to the Sindhi community.
- He is a graduate of engineering and before entering politics, he was a teacher at the Government Polytechnic College, Udaipur.
