1. Good Governance Day 2023- Atal Bihari’s Birth Anniversary
- Good Governance Day has been celebrated on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
- The day is celebrated on the 25th of December every year to foster awareness among the people of the country about accountability in Governance and Government.
- The Good Governance Day goes back to December 23, 2014, when Atal Bihari Vajpayee, along with Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya (posthumously), was conferred the Bharat Ratna.

2. PM Modi addresses Veer Bal Diwas programme in New Delhi
- PM Narendra Modi participated in the Veer Baal Diwas function at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
- The Veer Bal Diwas marks the martyrdom of Sri Guru Gobind Singh’s sons Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh
- In January last year, the Prime Minister had announced that 26th December will be observed as Veer Bal Diwas
- A digital exhibition on the life story and sacrifice of the Sahibzades will be displayed in schools and childcare institutions across the country.
